Jetwash Aviation Photos started life in early 2006. The plan was to create a website that would be used by military aviation enthusiasts and the professional media alike as a source of information on the modern military aircraft scene.

The format was designed to incorporate articles from base visits and military exercises, together with airshows from various countries around the world. From time to time some of our airshow reports are deleted so as to keep the content more relevant to todays action, particularly if an event is held annually and we attend it on a regular basis. However we do keep an airshow on record indefinitely if it is of a more unusual nature, or a one-off event. The base visits and exercise reports are kept on record indefinitely as they provide more of an historic picture of not only todays air forces, but also of how they were, particularly in todays world of budget cuts and conflicts.

Having travelled extensively to photograph military aircraft, I can so far include Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Eire, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey in my log, along with my many visits to the U.S.A. My hope is that in the future I will be able to expand the number of countries where I have provided reports from, particularly from the Far East.

Whilst I do not actively pursue getting my work published in the aviation media, I am happy to submit upon request and to date have had my work published in "Air Forces Monthly", "AIM", "ISnAP", "MAR" and a "NATO-JAPCC"  report.

A word of warning;  Some of the world's air arms are far more co-operative than others in assisting us in our pursuits, indeed in many countries the photographing of military aircraft is frowned upon and even illegal. The fact that I may include reports from such countries does not mean that I am in any way inferring that it is acceptable too carry out such pursuits and would warn anyone planning such ventures to gain the necessary authority beforehand. Please do not end up in trouble with the authorities for the sake of a few photographs.

If you require further information/copies of particular images, or would like me to conduct an article for you on a specific subject, please contact me via the e-mail link below and I will be happy to assist. I hope you enjoy visiting the website and that you return on a regular basis.
