Jetwash Aviation Photos started its life in early 2006. The plan was to create a website that would be used primarily by military aviation enthusiasts, but also by the professional media as a source of information on the modern military aircraft scene.
The format was designed to incorporate articles from base visits and military exercises together with airshows from various countries around the world. Most airshows I report on are deleted on a year on year basis so as to keep them more relevant to todays action, particularly if I attend an event each year. The base visits and exercise reports will be kept indefinitely as they provide an historic picture of not only today's air forces, but also of how they were.
Having travelled extensively to photograph military aircraft in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Eire, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland along with many visits to the U.S.A, I hope in the future I will be able to expand the number of countries where I provide reports from. The equipment I use consists of a variety of Canon DSLR bodies combined with both Sigma and Canon L-series lenses, together with a Canon Speedlite when flash photography is required.
Some air arms are far more co-operative than others in assisting us in our pursuits, but I believe that perseverance eventually pays off and this should enable me to expand the site reports on a constant basis. Please visit the site regularly to catch any additions made, you never know, there might be something very interesting to see. If you require further information or would like me to conduct an article for you on a specific subject please contact us via e-mail below and I will be happy to assist. I hope you enjoy visitng my website.
As well as holding press credentials via IFNM I am also a member of the International Society for Aviation Photography (ISAP).
